Our managing director Manuel Luckey was one of the keynote speakers at the networking event “Forum IT-Sicherheit – Security in Production“, which took place on 26 November 2024 in the Stadthalle Leutkirch and was streamed live online. Over 300 participants from business, science, administration and politics gained exciting insights into the importance of proactive IT support for manufacturing companies in the fight against the growing cyber threat. . Over 40 participants experienced an exciting evening dedicated entirely to IT security for SMEs.
Torsten Seeberg from the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office (LKA) and Manuel Luckey from Computer-Spezialisten provided information on the current threat situation (especially phishing and ransomware), the latest tactics used by perpetrators, the importance of proactive IT support and up-to-date preventive measures, as well as practical recommendations for emergencies.
